Darth Vale. The Saddest Sith Empty
PostSubject: Darth Vale. The Saddest Sith   Darth Vale. The Saddest Sith EmptyTue Aug 31, 2010 2:00 pm

"This is another pen&paper character that was once played by a friend of mine, very short story"
Sometime between TOR and SW ep.1. There was a Sith Lord by the name of Darth Void, very powerful and cunning Sith. In his ever lasting search for an apprentice, he found a young alien with tremendous force abilities, not as strong as himself but could become extremely powerful, after using some long and best forgotten sith power, he wiped out an entire race but saved this child. With time and harsh training, this child came to be known as Darth Vale.

Darth Void was also very paranoid of his apprentice, the last thing he wanted was to lose his power, so instead of training Vale in the ways of the force, he trained him how to use the force to enhance his combat prowess. By doing so, although Vale was much stronger and faster then Void, the mere power of Void could protect him against the speed and accuracy of his apprentice. They became extremely efficient together.

Darth Vale first encounter with a Jedi was his true test to becoming a true Sith. Vale was cocky and overconfident and thought he could take on the Jedi Master and his Padawan at once. Not only did he succeed but he surpassed both of them in every way. Although Vale was strong enough to take on even the most seasoned of Jedi, he did not believe he could defeat his Master yet and continued his training. Every foe he met in combat had little to no chance of success.

One day, while Vale was in his prime, he and Void was on a gas planet that ressembled Bespin in the unknown region of space. A group of jedi's were fighting against both Sith Lords on a floating platform and met their doom one by one. A padawan used the force to enhance her speed and hopped in a transport as there was a need to warn the jedi council of such a threat, While Void was dispatching of the last Jedi Master, Vale used the force and jumped towards the transport to kill the Padawan. Which he did with ease. But using a lightsaber near the transport control made it lose control, Vale opened the latch that led outside and jumped towards the platform in what would have been considered an easy jump but...he tripped and fell to his death in the lower atmosphere of the planet. No one knows what happened to Darth Void afterwards.

Not too bad. Could be fleshed out to not seem so rushed, but if played right you could turn your friend's character's legacy into something rather intriguing.

Very Happy
I know, could have elaborated more but then again, this campaign was rather odd and short on its own.
