The Most Overrated Videogame

So, what do you guys think is the most overrated videogame?

All of the Final Fantasy games and Company of Heroes (Even though I play it constently, with Blitzkrieg mod of course).

Oh, and Cock of Dooty Modern Warfail 2.

Final Fantasy pretty much plays itself.

*World of Warcraft (though, I still play it).
*The Legend of Zelda series.
*Grand Theft Auto series.
*StarCraft 1 & 2.
*Tomb Raider series.
*Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and up.

I think your confusing MW2 with Halo.


Halo at least requires some (But very little) skill. MW2 is just corner campining with the best gun, heart beat sensor and some overpowered perks until you get some insanely overpowered kill streak, and then win the game.

Yes, I thought it might of spread.

In Halo's defense none of you would have complaints if they only made one. 2 and 3 are what gave it the negative reputation. But that's about the limits of my defense.

Other than that man do I have a burning hatred for everything that is Dragon Age. Worst 25 hours of gaming in my life.

- The Setting: OOOOH BOY! Elves? Drunken Dwarves? Humans? And they fight a horde of misshapen humanoids lead by a being of epic and mythical proportions? It's like I just had amnesia and forgot Lord of the Rings ever existed!

- The Characters: Alastair was whiny, Morrigan was unsocial and awkward. The dwarf was drunk and the big tall guy was quiet. Then when they randomly need Alastair to stop being whiny they just randomly retcon him to be a fine fit for king. And then you have that weird religious chick whose voice constantly confused me. I couldn't tell if it was a speech impediment or an accent. Pretty much zero actual writing necessary. And the witty banter was crap. I'm not some monkey in front of a screen amused by anything and everything. Give me real plot not some stereotype dwarf saying he was never not drunk. Oh and main character doesn't have a voice? Awesome, I like mute characters in a game where you are trying to get me into the characters. It works so well since I'm mute in real life, just like everyone who has ever played video games.

- Combat: Yeah no. The system was easy to figure out and bored me. I just didn't enjoy having to hold everyone's hands while they went to the bathroom, making sure they didn't leave their fly down and washed their hands after. I essentially had to babysit characters, or they didn't perform the tasks I set for them correctly. It also forced me to have characters I didn't like in my party for multiple occasions (and usually long amounts of games).

Fable 1 was a great game.
