PostSubject: Broken Chains   Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:21 am

Heyyy hey! Very Happy A long while back, when things were dead, me and a few others decided to taste the dark side and fuckz aboutz wif some Siffies. Errm, i mean mess with some Sith. Our first "mission" got eaten by our fledgling forum as a sacrifice, and thus, all I can offer is this incomplete second Recording.

This is what we managed to get through before reality kicked us in the crotch and threw us into an alleyway. Criticize away. Several people's posts in one looooong thread. Get ready for it. See who you can guess who is who, with the people without obvious names. Very Happy
-----------------------

The Interdictor-class cruiser, The Kraken was on the move once more. The red planet Xo was but a small dot in the eyes and viewports of the men piloting the ship, turned mobile base.

Supplies were beginning to dwindle, and the decision was made to head to Dromund Kaas, before the store reached lower than it's 10 percent mark. Tureil Vita had a secondary, though just as important, objective in mind: Two more potential acolytes were informed to wait for a pickup via shuttle while the ship bolstered it's storage of food and water.

The Kraken did not land on the planet's surface to do it's business; Tureil had always outright refused to allow himself to be in that situation. The vessel stayed in orbit, where it would be far easier to escape if any unwarranted attention came to visit. The Kraken, and Tureil's life, were invaluable in the Warrior's mind, compared to the thousands of men and women he had under his command, who could be replaced in less than a week if they were caught or killed in the line of "duty."

He instead sent out messages to his suppliers, and gave them extra incentive to follow his eccentric orders of the in-orbit deliveries.

Tureil and an aide stood on the bridge of the vessel and overlooked the process, as deployed fighters kept watch and added more security to the suppliers.

"The shuttle was sent to the capital?" Tureil asked.

"Yes, my lord." the male aide stated. "Shortly after the first supply vessel came and the fighters were deployed."

"Venku and Jev'rali were informed of the urgent nature of my call?"

"Yes, my lord." echoing the earlier, droning reply, though the man's lip twitched in contempt as he heard the latter name.

"Not too fond of the wormheads, are you?" Tureil chuckled.

"No, I'm not." the aide said flatly. "Nor any other alien."

"To each their own." the warrior shrugged as he watched his datapad's updated status. The store was up to 30 percent full, and the next wave of supply ships were coming. "All I care about is that they can feel the Force as we can, and are thus potentially powerful allies. Or at least, useful tools. Like you, Kiva."

"U-understood, my lord." the man --Kiva-- stammered before a dull thwip came from his own personal datapad. He cleared his throat before he read the news.

"S-sir. The shuttles are on their way now."

"Excellent. You watch over these proceedings, then. I'll go and give our guests a proper welcome. And call the acolytes and tell them to join me in the shuttle bay. They should see who they'll be competing with for my favor, after all."

Tureil smirked and again began to work his way to the shuttle bay of the cruiser. It seemed this was becoming a tradition.
-----------------------------------
Lord Venku slowly deboarded the shuttle. His senses were fully aware of his surroundings. He did not talk to the being he traveled with. He saw Lord Vita and immediately made a course for him. He strode slown with his hands placed in the pockets of his white garments. The contrast nearly matched his skin. His emerald green eyes and facial tattos stood out in his appearance. The result of manipulation with the force, the left side of his head was covered in bone. A hole was noticeable on his torso, at the base of his neck.

By all stretches of the imagination Altiros Venku did not look human, nor act it for that matter. His master taught him extream disapline, no emotion. He was a tool of the Emporer, and was exceedingly efficient as it, because of his masters instilled training. The sad and pathetic truth about Altiros Venku's life was that it was in service. He held no ambition for power, only to preserve it. All his raw power was only for use of others.

"Lord Vita, my master commands I lend you my will." Lord Venku said with a low bow, face bare of emotion.
--------------------------------

"I was told to come"

As Nephilim walked in the room with a corpse of his messenger. Or at least what was left of him.

"I didn't like your man's tone, he called me acolyte."

He said as he threw the corpse through the safety glass sucked into the vacuum of space. Of course immediately the shutter went down.
----------------------------------
Xant slowly walked in. Head slightly down and back arched. His hand close to his chest, fingers slightly pointed inwards. His eye cold eyes, the only part of him not covered, was still not visible with his half face mask and hood cover his face.

"Lord Venku, Tool of the Emperor." Xant thought to himself. He has heard that name many times through out the worlds of the Empire but never saw a face. Most interesting that he is he....

"Lord... Venku... honor...to... finally meet... you" Xant gave a small bow. His "double" voice cold and raspy like death itself.
-----------------------------
"You'll be paying for the damages of that, Nephilim." Tureil growled. "Disrespect my home again and you'll be the one thrown into space. Piece. By piece."

Tureil exhaled sharply and turned his attention to the overly pale man called 'Venku.'A strange being indeed. He should make a fair shock trooper...

"You lack the lekku of the other I called for, so you must be the one dubbed "Venku."" The warrior said as he walked up to the being. He could only barely be called human, in Tureil's mind.

"Sent by the Emperor, aren't you..." He continued, examining the Sith's strange appearance. "To...Aid me. Watch me. Don't try and deny it. I know a fair bit of rumors of you."

"Rumors always have a base of fact, isn't that right, 'Lord' Vita?" came a voice from above the two.

A twi'lek with the skin the color of dull, iron gray, clad in the armor of one who hunts other sentients, sat comfortably on one of the horizontal support beams of the bay, twirling a hold-out blaster in intricate movements.

"So there you are, Jev'rali. I thought you forgot why I called you here." Tureil said in mocking, falsely pleasant tone. "Get down here."

"At once." the Twi'lek replied, mirroring Tureil's tone of voice, before he dropped lightly to the floor.

"Who do you need found?"

--------------------------
"Lord Xant."

Lord Venku reguarded all the people present. He was in the presence of powerful beings. None of them were to be taken lightly. His face remained void of emotion.

"It is no secret as to why I am here, Lord Vita. The Emperor sent me to keep an eye on this factions dealings. He knows better than to let powerful Lords group in secret. Be that as it may, I will still be an asset to your operations, as my master commanded. I am now yours to command, Lord Vita. I am only to interfere if actions to undermine the Emporer are taken." Lord Venku spoke flatly in a low tone.
-----------------------
Xant watched and listened to the others speak, taking everything in.

"I must tread softly, my plan must be perfect...yes.. perfect"

Xant's mind was shifting from one thought to another, trying to redo his set plans.
-----------------------
"I'll tell you when I have a free moment, Jev'rali. You're dismissed." Tureil said shortly. The emperor's tool was more interesting than a simple bounty hunter.

"The Emperor is afraid of a few force users, when it was he himself who dealt such mighty blows to the Republic? Don't concern yourself, Lord Venku. The Emperor's goals are largely my goals. When his power grows, mine does. When my power grows, he is better for it."

As he spoke, Tureil's eyes flickered with an inner laugh. His words had a ring of sincerity however.

He could not dismiss the fact he was being essentially spied on within his own home though, and no comfort came from it.

-----------------
"It is not necessarily your loyalty that is in question, Lord Vita, but the Emperor has not held on to power for this long without being cautious." For half a moment Lord Venku's eyes rested on Xant, before moving back to Lord Vita's gaze. His face and tone remained emotionless. "In light of my current position I do have a suggestion that would benefit you, my Lord."
-----------------
Tureil smirked. He knew full well caution was always required in this day and age. Especially for him, as this beautiful ship was once part of a Republic fleet, and flew under a different name.

"Of course." he said dryly, as he started to recall the event. "Speak your mind."

Again, his right hand dropped lazily to his side and wrapped lightly around the hilt of a saber, and ran his thumb over the smooth surface. He felt no threats; it was simply an unconscious action.
---------------------
"Use my talents to root out your enemies within the Empire. It is what I have been forged to do." Venku said straight up, with his dead expression. "Like I stated before, my powers are at your command, for whatever you need them."
---------------------
Xant watched the two dance back and forth, in honesty it was amusing.

"Perhaps it will not be as difficult as I have previously thought."

His thoughts slowing, his plan's coming together.

His mind is forever talking, valuating and re-valuating every move he makes... Yet to the outside world, Xant rarely speaks, and when he does, it's the "doubled" icy grip of death itself.

Deception and manipulation, something he was very good at.
----------------------
"If you stay in my ship, that's precisely what I plan to do, Venku." the warrior said matter-of-factly.

"I do believe this is a direct enough meeting, although it seems one of my acolytes couldn't seem to show. You're dismissed. An officer stands outside for you, Venku, he will escort you to quarters. I grow tired of this talk already, and there's still some mundane tasks I'm forced to oversee..." Tureil spoke as he turned and walked to the door.

A sharp chirp from his comlink caught his attention the moment the door opened.

"What incompetence occurred now?" He growled into it.

"Sir, a message!" came the voice of Kiva.

"It had better be important if you have to bother me with it."

"It's from Commander Jyras of the Republic. Sir...I don't think this trip was as cleanly done as we thought." came the droning voice of the aide, now sounding surprised and nervous.

"The informant? What's happened?!"

The replayed voice of Tureil's contact now came through the comlink.

"You screwed up royally on your trip home, Vita. I just heard reports of your 'ghost-ship' being spotted leaving the Xo system. A ship's been sent to where they believe you are. Namely, your sister-ship the Tempest. I had a report of my own made saying you were seen on route to Muunilinst. They're waiting there behind one of the moons. They have more than a handful of Jedi with their soldiers, if I saw the right rosters. For this, I expect double my usual ra--" Tureil cut the recording off.

"Kiva! Pay the drunken bastard and prepare to head to Muunilinst's moons, I don't want that Republic ship seeing us coming."

"Sir? Head TO the ship??" Kiva asked in a confused tone.

"Do it! They won't be able to follow us much longer if we scrap the thing!" Tureil roared into the link before throwing it to the ground.

"But the supplies aren't yet--"

"DO IT!" he repeated angrily before whipping around to face the others. "You lot! Get ready! Prove your strength!"
--------------------
"Finally some action. I have been aching for this."

He said as he walked towards Vita.
-------------------
Lord Venku reguarded Darth Nephilim. Though such animals had their uses, bloodthirsty beings such as Darth Nephilim had a way of destroying anything useful in sight. Basicaly stating they caused more problems than they solved. But, it was not his place to question who Lord Vita allowed in his presence. He would keep a watchful eye on that one. Lord Venku merely stood with his hands in his pockets, and waited for more orders from Lord Vita.
--------------------
If there was anything that Xant hated, it was the jedi.

"Jeedi... will... die!"

Xant stood motionless, waiting to destroy feeble minds with his dark powers.
---------------------
Tureil snorted and tried to collect himself; there would be enough time to let his fury flow when he and the acolytes were storming the Tempest.

"Lords Xant...Venku.. You two are the better choice for this question...Are either of you adept in cloaking one's presence in the Force?" He asked, his voice barely restrained. "If so, I have an idea to cripple our waiting sibling..."
--------------
"I...am...skilled... in many...different...areas"
--------------
"It is a requirement of my duty, my Lord." Venku said mechanically.
--------------
"I don't have to explain my abilities. But i am ready to kill..."

Nephilim kept on guard.
----------------
"Good." he said simply. He turned his attention to the masked Sith warrior.

"Nephilim. Take Venku, Jev'rali, and as many troopers as you can fit into one of the shuttles. You should be able to fit 13 soldiers, not including your fellow acolytes. Don't kill any more of my men, Nephilim...They have a use now." Tureil continued quickly. "Xant, you and I will do the same, and we'll take the girl as well."

The warrior turned on his heel and headed back to the door, his robe whipping about.

"Prepare yourselves for battle, and then load onto the shuttles. I'll tell you the rest of the details soon. I'm going to head to the bridge and make sure Kiva relayed my orders. Are we clear?" He called back.
------------------
"Yes... my Lord." Venku turned on his heel and followed Darth Nephilim onto the shuttle. He took a postion near the rear of the shuttle. Jev'Rali came after, as he walked by he eyed Venku. Venku's gaze was amiss. There was no hint of anything. The troops finished boarding as Darth Nephilim gave his motivational speeches. At least it would give them focus. The shuttle departed shortly after.
-------------------

FIN.

Lol...I know, cliffhanger eh?
