| Do you have any? (Fears... That is).
I'm "afraid" of flying insects. From bees and wasps, to lady bugs (to a lesser extent) and jewel beetles. I especially hate Cicada, in fact, I'm terrified of that insect. (Just seeing a picture of one makes my stomach turn).
Note: I think my fear of flying insects started at the age of eight. When I got stung on my chest by a wasp while swimming.
I'm also somewhat afraid of flying (go figure!). Ever since 9/11 I have had a fear of flight. A fear, I'm hoping, to get over sooner than later. (I really REALLY need to get over my fear of flight).
I'm also afraid of getting sick (nausea/vomiting especially). Even more so recently. But I mean... Who isn't?
I was afraid of heights. Though as of right now, I no longer am.

I can vouch for that one... Twice... But i am not afraid of it... Wasps are my bane... I hate those yellow black little bastards. And unstable ladders... For the rest... None.

lol I have this same fear stemming from a similar cause... it was a scary feeling. And that leads to phobia of prison... I just never want to go there. D: Also... I have a phobia of dead silence. If there's no sound in the middle of the night it creeps me out.

That is why European prisons are better... Less rape... :p But honestly you are only completely fucked in prison if you are a pedophile. You are pretty much dead. Which is a good thing...

| Like, phobias? Or just things that irk us? Well...Spiders irritate me. There's not (m)any spiders where I live that are deadly to people, but still...Some of the little shits aren't pleasant to get a close up view on. I can't say I'm scared of them though 'cuz I'm usually the one killing them around my house cuz my sister truly is scared shitless at spiders and other creepy crawlies. Heights. Again, I'm not phobic but if the walking space isn't too roomy I'll be overly cautious about every damn thing I do. That said...I love diving towers at pools. After my house was broken into a while back I've become rather paranoid about hearing noises at night, especially while in the dark. That said, complete silence worries me, as well... Especially since I live on the edge of alot of woods and I keep my window open all the time. I'll hear animals chirping and moving about on occasion, but when I hear *nothing* out the window on a normal night, I'm on edge. I guess I need that natural "white noise" to keep me level. | |

| I dunno, I have no real phobias. I have a few disinclinations like heights, that pretty much only prevents me from standing near the edge of the Grand Canyon but that seems like a pretty normal deal.
I've never been stabbed. I've been stung enough times by bugs to not have any real fear of it. I've been in airplanes enough times to be pretty cool with that. I used to be afraid of the dark as a kid.
I'm not a fan of the eyes of praying mantises, the fact it looks like a pupil displayed on a tv screen weirds me out.

If I were to slap you with a carp... would it help? I wish it were that easy... Really. I think I've been having panic attacks, that I once thought were nausea spells. I'd really like to know why my mind simplely "snapped" like that.

| I'm afraid of a lot of things.
I'm afraid of losing any more permanent teeth because I lost one on a trampoline.
I'm afraid of very deep, murky water.
I'm afraid that when I take a shower and I'm shampooing or something with my eyes closed something will be in the shower with me when I open them.
Spiders.
Being buried alive.
Being forever alone.
Getting raped.
And so forth. | |

| I notice height is a difficult one, I get a bit of that.
I'm scared that my teeth will fall out if I get punched in my face; generally getting into an extremely violent fight and losing a part of your body, having it permanently damaged or in some way permanently changed disturbs me; you'll never have that back and you'll NEVER be whole again.
I fear social rejection and awkwardness and would rather get into a fight or argument with someone than have them harbour bad feelings towards me but act nice to my face.
