Well, I was talking with a friend to other day, about brands of cigars and such, and after I while I began to wonder, what's the most common brand of cigar people smoke on USA or England?

Eh... it's very widely varied in the US... not that many people smoke cigars here. I like my Swisher Sweets on occasion... and this one smoke shop down town sells this honey flavored cigar that is pretty epic. My favorite was the Cuban I smoked in Cape Town, South Africa.

Cubans cigars are the best \m/ \m/

Or Tabacos, how they are called here. Anyways, I asked because I always thought(from what I saw on TV) that people smoked a lot in USA and Smoked Luckies.

I don't think I've heard of Luckies before (maybe I have)... and it's not uncommon to see someone smoking a cigarette. But I wouldn't say we smoke nearly as much as folks in the UK or Europe.

Yeah there's a lot of anti-smoking themes going around the US. Not that it stops people... but there's less and less people that smoke.

No it's actually not... look at Lybia... the extent of "war" for us was waving our hands at them and smiling. We just like front seats...

I believe Marlboro is the most popular but by no means can you walk around and see a bunch of people smoking the same brand. There's also Camels, and Parliaments. New Ports are popular with people of the African American persuasion.

While I'm not a smoker, at my college clove cigarettes like Black and Milds are pretty popular due to the smell.

But yeah smoking is actually pretty limited here, advertising on tv or radio has been illegal for quite some time (they can only really take out ads in magazines with an adult demographic), and most states have tried to get people to stop smoking by increasing taxes on them (pushing people to buy them in Canada or elsewhere over the internet). Also you really can't smoke indoors anymore, I think some states still allow it in bars, but that's about it.

Hum, thanks, something similar is going on here, but on a much lesser scale, so people still smoke a lot. The most common brands here are Marlboro, Belmont, and Mint Luckies for the ladies.

I think Virginia slims are the US's lady cigarettes.
