Yes. I'm starting a "Rate That Song" thread, but, it doesn't have to be the song above you--ESPECIALLY as the thread grows. This allows metal listeners to rate other metal listeners, "club music" (i.e. trance) listeners to rate other "club music" listeners etc. etc. However, feel free to rate any song you want; but make sure to listen to a majority of it before leaving a rating.
Basically, rate someone's song in the thread (be sure to state WHO'S song you're rating, and WHAT the song is) from 1 to 5. 1, being, the song is fucking horrible (in your opinion), and 5, being, the song is fucking amazing (in your opinion). Feel free to give reasoning behind the rating you gave. BE SURE TO STATE THE GENRE OF THE SONG YOU POST, SO, PEOPLE KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND CAN SKIP IT IF THEY AREN'T A FAN OF THE GENRE; BE SOMEWHAT SPECIFIC (FOR EXAMPLE: Slayer = Thrash Metal, Skrillex = Dubstep)
I also recommend leaving the video of your song in "spoiler" or "hidden" tags, to prevent lag.YOU CAN LEAVE THE SONG INFORMATION (i.e genre) OUTSIDE THE TAGS THOUGH.Also, for the first page or two, you CAN post a song without rating one first. HOWEVER, come page 3 or 4, you MUST rate a song in order to post one.
The Black Waltz by Kalmah Genre(s): Melodic death metal, neo-classical metal
3/5. Loved it overall, but the vocals (though meant to be that way) just didn't catch me overall. Music was enjoyable regardless.

5 out of 5.
Even though, I, myself, consider myself to be a metalhead, I still really enjoy this type of music--the song you posted is no exception, I remember it from the music thread. I could find very little fault with the song, other than the large lips of the female singer (lolz), hence the "5 out of 5" rating.
Innocent by Rage Genre(s): Heavy metal, speed metal, power metal
Note:The song OFFICIALLY starts at around 4:00, before that, is the instrumental intro.

It is a good performance. Too much powermetal for me. It is great music, but it is not my cup of tea.

I really like Kreator, one of the few thrash metal bands that I do; Onslaught, Sabaton, Slayer, Yyrkoon, and Kreator. Saw them live at Wacken believe it or not, if you can believe I attended Wacken and traveled all the way to Germany. Not one of my favorite songs by them though, hence the "4 out of 5" rating.

2/5. I can't stand Black Metal, and while the beat was OK, the vocals were...no.
Warrior Concerto by The Glitch Mob
Genres: Glitch, Electronic
For added effect:
Step 1: Open Warrior Concerto and pause it. Step 2: Open it again and play till 30 then play the other one at the same time. Step 3: Enjoy!

My only complaint with the entire song is the singer's voice. It doesn't seem...strong enough for the rest of the song. Maybe that's just because of Youtube's iffy quality.

Read the rules again. No need to rate every song above yours. Just whichever seems most appealing.

Yeah, but if you only rate stuff that seems appealing to your ears, then... what's the point? Anyways...

4/5 I like it but it won't stick with me. I like the vocals... But... It kinda is too much opera for me. To clean, lacking a dark vibe. Which i like in my music. Nevertheless good performance.

I think some people are forgetting, that, you DO NOT HAVE TO RATE THE SONG ABOVE YOU; BUT, ANY SONG IN THE THREAD. The reason I made it this way is so you can listen to a song that's in a genre you like (and the reason people should post the genre of the song they are posting), and skip over songs in genres that you don't like. YOU CAN NOT RATE THE SAME SONG TWICE, OF COURSE.

I really liked this song, from its vocals to its instrumentation; it has a cool "vibe" about it. Though... I have never heard of the band before.

Maybe I WANT to rate the song above me.
I suppose.
But why even bother if you hate the genre to begin with, and, more than likely, automatically give the song a 0 out of 5 rating? You can give a less bias rating by rating a song of the genre you like.
