Subject: Recommend me some anime. Thu Apr 15, 2010 8:34 pm
I'm into either sci-fi action/comedy or those comedy animes. Not a big fan of the drama ones. But basically anything actiony/funny or both is good for me.
Some of my favorite animes: Gurren Lagann Full Metal Panic Fumoffu All the Gundam series. All the Dragonball series. Original Pokemon series. S-Cry-Ed Samurai Champlo Cowboy Bebop Death Note Code Geass: LeLouche of the Rebellion Magikano And a bunch of others whose name I can't remember.
So, what do you think would interest me?

Take a look for yourself...I would say somewhat, however, I don't know what you classify as sci-fy-y.
Berserk (actually intro sequence, this anime is pretty close to Dragon Ball Z, however, quite abit more violence and gore)
Black Lagoon (with actually theme song)
Monster (actually intro sequence)

They seem pretty good. But I'm looking for a bit more sci-fi, Like Gundam level or so. The more over the top, the better.

Berserk is considered one of the classic Anime/Manga's out there sort of like the movie Akira.
Black Lagoon is violence with dark and crude humor thrown in.
Monster, well it's on the SyFy channel and is the most sci-fi-y out of them, however as I said it may have more drama then you are looking for.

I've seen Eureka Seven and Evangelion. Also, Gurren Lagann is on my list and its one of my favorite shows of all time. And I've seen Ghost in the Shell. I'll try out the others.

My life... -Games -Music -Movies -Anime -Women (hopefully sex as I progress in age . I am only 18 and currently live with my parents since I don't have a stable income, therefore my sexual life is non exsistant. Thought you should know. )
